We Are Renard's

Renard's Cheese was established in 1961 in Door County, Wisconsin. Ann and Chris Renard are proud of their family owned and operated business which is now in its third generation of cheesemakers. 
 

The Renard family is committed to continuing the longstanding tradition of perfectly blended, handcrafted, high quality gourmet cheese. This precise art has awarded Renard’s not only a reputation of great standards but also a product they are proud to put their name on.

Meet The Master Cheesemaker

Chris Renard

In 2014, Chris Renard earned his Master Cheesemaker Certification in Cheddar and Mozzarella - a prestigious nationally accredited title. While many things have changed over the years, the Renard’s family recipe remains the same.

 

Chris has continued in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps by producing a variety of handcrafted award-winning cheeses.  The Renards are inspired by customers to continue to create new blends of specialty cheeses.
